Reset your Beats speakers

If you’re having sound, Bluetooth, or charging issues with your speakers, you might want to reset them.

Reset Beats Pill

To reset your Beats Pill and keep your settings, press and hold the system button for at least 10 seconds.

To remove all paired devices, remove the custom name, and reset your Beats Pill to its factory settings, press and hold the system button and the volume down button for at least 15 seconds.

Reset Beats Pill+

To reset your Beats Pill+ and keep your settings:

  1. Hold down the power button for eight seconds, then let go.

  2. Press the power button once. The Fuel Gauge flashes white to red three times.

To remove all paired devices, remove the custom name, and reset your Beats Pill+ to its factory settings:

  1. Use the Lightning-to-USB cable to plug your Beats Pill+ into a power source.

  2. Turn the speaker on.

  3. Hold down both the "b" button and the power button for six seconds. The Fuel Gauge flashes red six times.

Reset Beats Pill 2.0

To reset your Pill 2.0:

  1. Turn on your Pill 2.0.

  2. Press and hold the "b" button and the power button for 10 seconds. The LEDs blink red and green three times.
