Save a favourite location in Maps on Mac
You can add locations to favourites so you can easily refer to them later.
Save a location
In the Maps app on your Mac scroll in the map until you see a location you want to save.
Click the location, then click Add to Favourites at the bottom of the place card.
Get directions to a favourite location
In the Maps app on your Mac, click the location you want directions to (in the sidebar below Favourites).
If your favourites aren’t showing, click the arrow .
If your current location is showing, Maps uses it as your starting location, but you can enter a different one. You can also click the Swap Directions button to swap your start and end locations.
Rename a favourite location
If you’ve saved a pin to favourites, you can rename it.
In the Maps app on your Mac, click the Info button next to a location (in the sidebar below Favourites).
If your favourites aren’t showing, click the arrow .
Click in the Name field, delete the previous name, then type a new name.
Delete a favourite location
In the Maps app on your Mac, Control-click a location (in the sidebar below Favourites), then choose Remove from Favourites.
Make a favourite location your home, work or school address
In the Maps app on your Mac, click the Info button next to a location (in the sidebar below Favourites).
Select My home, My work or My school, then click Update.
