
View device information in Apple School Manager
After selecting a device, you can view additional information, such as the following:
The date it was added to Apple School Manager
The date it was released from Apple School Manager
The date it was assigned to a specific device management service and the name of that service
The source of the device:
Apple (Apple Customer Number)
Apple Authorized Reseller
Apple Authorized cellular carrier
AppleCare (for replaced devices)
Apple Configurator (for devices added manually)
The device’s:
Model
Part number
Serial number
Storage size
Activation Lock status
AppleCare active coverage:
Start and end dates
Coverage type
AppleCare inactive coverage:
Start and end dates
Coverage type
For iPhone and iPad:
The 15-digit International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number
The 14-digit Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID) numbers for each physical SIM and eSIM
The 32-digit Embedded Identity Document (EID) numbers for each eSIM
For iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro:
The Wi-Fi MAC address
The Bluetooth MAC address
For Mac:
The Wi-Fi MAC address
The Bluetooth MAC address
The built-in Ethernet MAC addresses
Note: The built-in Ethernet MAC addresses currently apply to only Mac computers with Apple silicon from 2021 or later.

Get information about a device
In Apple School Manager
, sign in with a user who has the role of Administrator, Site Manager, or Device Enrollment Manager.Select Devices
in the sidebar, then select or search for a device in the search field. See How to search.To search for specific devices, you can paste up to 1024 serial numbers from a text file, with each serial number separated by a comma.
Select the device from the list, then view the device details, which vary depending on who owns the device.
