Sharpen effects in Pixelmator Pro on Mac
Pixelmator Pro contains Sharpen effects to enhance image detail and clarity:
Sharpen improves detail and perceived sharpness by increasing contrast around edges throughout the layer.
Sharpen Luminance increases detail without affecting color saturation.
Sharpen effect controls
Sharpen effects have the following adjustment controls in the Effects pane. You can access the controls after applying an effect to a layer or adding an effects layer
Control | Used in these effects | Description |
|---|---|---|
Radius | Sharpen, Sharpen Luminance | Drag this slider to control the size of the area around the edges that will be sharpened. Larger values create more noticeable sharpening. |
Intensity | Sharpen | Drag this slider to control how much contrast is added during sharpening. Higher values create more dramatic sharpening. |
Sharpness | Sharpen Luminance | Drag this slider to control the strength of the sharpening effect. |
