
Create a Lock Screen configuration in Apple Business
The Lock Screen option allows you to set the information and appearance of items on the Lock Screen of an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
In Apple Business, sign in with a user whose role has permissions to create, edit, and delete device configurations.
To view roles and permissions, see Intro to roles and permissions.
In your browser, choose Devices > Configurations > All Configurations.
Select All Configurations, select Add
next to Lock Screen
, then enter a name for the configuration.Choose the platforms to create the configuration for, such as:

You can choose a message to display above the login prompt. You might use this to provide a warning about unauthorized use.

Choose whether to allow the user to cycle through the hostname, macOS version, and IP address when the menu bar is clicked.
Show buttons

Choose the buttons you’d like users to see:

The Shut Down button
Login appearance

Select User name/password to allow the user to enter both their user name and password.
Select List of users to show local users in the Login window.
Other accounts

Guest account

Choose whether users can enable a guest account.
Administrator accounts

Fast User Switching

Choose whether Fast User Switching is available from the menu bar.

Notification history

Choose whether previous notifications can be reviewed on the Lock Screen. If this option is turned off, new notifications are still visible when they arrive.

Apple Wallet

Choose whether Apple Wallet items, such as credit cards or boarding passes, can be accessed while the device is locked.
