Search for photos on Apple Vision Pro
When you tap Search in the Photos app 
, you see suggestions for moments, people you’ve named in your Photos library, places, and categories. You can also type a keyword into the search field—for example, date or location—to help you find a specific photo.
Search in Photos
Look at the tab bar to the left of the window, then tap Search. View photos in the suggested categories, or use the search field at the top of the window to search. Here’s some of the things you can search for:
People or pets (by name if you’ve named them in your Photos library)
Date (month or year)
Place (city or state)
Business names (museums or restaurants, for example)
Category (beach or sunset, for example)
Events (sports games or concerts, for example)
Search for specific photos and videos with Apple Intelligence
Apple Intelligence makes it even easier to find a specific photo, or a key moment in a video—just describe what you want to find.
Note: Apple Intelligence on visionOS 27 is not available in all languages or regions.*
Go to the Photos app
on your Apple Vision Pro.Tap the search field in the tab bar.
Type a description in the search field using natural language—“Maya skateboarding in a tie-dye shirt” or “Sadie cartwheeling on the grass,” for example.
Do any of the following:
See all collections: Tap
Select specific search results: Tap Select, then select the photos and videos you want to share or add to an album.
You can also search for photos in the Places album, which includes photos and videos based on where they were taken. You can see photos taken in a specific location or nearby, view a collection of all your places on a map, and watch a memory of a certain place.
