Change the color profile of an image in Pixelmator Pro on iPad
Color profiles define how colors are displayed in an image. You can change the color profile (or color space) of an image to any RGB profile installed on your iPad.
Adobe RGB represents a wide range of colors and can render softer and subtler tones than sRGB, a color profile designed for displaying content on digital screens and the web. When you assign a new color profile to an image, you’re changing how the colors are interpreted and displayed, not changing the color values in your image.
Note: iPad OS doesn’t support the installation of custom color profiles. Pixelmator Pro on iPad is limited to working with the pre-installed profiles: sRGB, Display P3, and Adobe RGB.

Match an image to a new color profile
If you want to ensure that your image retains as much of its original look as possible when you change its color profile, use the Match to Profile option. When you change a color profile using this option, Pixelmator Pro modifies the color values in your image to render them as closely as possible to the original profile while conforming to the new profile. Depending on the color profile you’re matching to, the changes to your image might be very subtle or more noticeable.
CAUTION: When you change an image’s profile using Match to Profile, the changes to the color values are permanent. You can’t revert back to the original colors by reassigning the original color profile.
