Automatically reduce image noise in Pixelmator Pro on Mac
Noise creates unwanted grain in photos, particularly those taken in low light or saved with heavy compression. The Denoise feature in Pixelmator Pro makes an image clearer by removing this type of visible grain.
In Pixelmator Pro on Mac, select an image layer in the Layers sidebar.
Choose Format > Denoise.
Pixelmator Pro automatically reduces noise in the image, and shows a before-and-after split-view comparison. Drag the vertical divider to compare the original image (on the left) to the denoised version (on the right).
Drag the Denoise Intensity slider in the toolbar at the bottom to modify the strength of the adjustment.
Click Done.
