Use color controls in Pixelmator Pro on iPad
Many tools in Pixelmator Pro include color controls to set the color of effects, paint, and other image attributes.
Choose a color in the color picker
Use the palette to set a new color for tools that apply color to images.
In Pixelmator Pro on iPad, do either of the following:
Select a tool in the Tools sidebar, then tap a color well in the tool’s adjustment pane.
Select a tool in the Tools sidebar, then tap the color well
(the color of the circle will reflect the last selected color) in the toolbar at the bottom of the canvas.
In the color picker, do any of the following:
Tap Grid, then select a color from the color grid.
Tap Spectrum, drag in the box, then release to select a color.
Tap Sliders, then drag the red, green, and blue sliders to select a color.
You can also enter a 6-digit HEX code into the text field.
Tap outside of the color picker to close it.
The color you selected appears in the tool’s color well.
Manage color swatches in the color picker
You can also use the color picker to add and modify swatches.
In Pixelmator Pro on iPad, select a tool in the Tools sidebar, then tap the color well
in the toolbar at the bottom.
In the color picker, do any of the following:
Save colors to use again: Tap
in the swatches area to save the selected color to the swatch collection.
Remove a swatch from the swatch collection: Touch and hold a swatch in the collection, then choose Delete.
