Change the color of text in Pixelmator Pro on iPad

In Pixelmator Pro on iPad, select in the Tools sidebar.
Do either of the following:
- Select an entire text box: Select a text layer in the Layers sidebar.
- Select part of a text box: Double-tap a text box in the canvas, then tap again and drag to select the characters you want to change.
In the Type pane, tap the color well, then choose a color.

You can also customize the color of text using layer styles.
