Create and manage playlists in Apple Immersive Video Utility
You can use playlists to organize your media and Apple Immersive Video Universal (AIVU) files in Apple Immersive Video Utility on Mac.
Note: You don’t need a playlist to import or save media to the Saved tab in Apple Immersive Video Utility on Apple Vision Pro. See Import or save media on Apple Vision Pro.

Create a new playlist
In the sidebar of Apple Immersive Video Utility on Mac, click
next to Immersive Video Playlists (or press Command-P).
A new, empty playlist appears in the sidebar.
Search within your playlists
After you import media or create an AIVU file, you can search for a file in a selected playlist.
In Apple Immersive Video Utility on Mac or Apple Vision Pro, select a playlist in the sidebar.
Click or tap the search field in the upper-right corner of the playlist view, then enter a filename.
The playlist view refreshes to show the search result.
Note: To search on Apple Vision Pro for playlists created on your Mac, your devices must be connected.
Manage your playlists
In Apple Immersive Video Utility on Mac or Apple Vision Pro, do any of the following:
Rename a playlist (Mac only): Double-click a playlist in the sidebar, enter a new name, then press Return.
Display a playlist in a grid or a list: With a playlist selected in the sidebar, click or tap
or
in the playlist view.Change how files in a playlist are sorted and filtered: With a playlist selected in the sidebar, click or tap
in the playlist view, then choose an option.If you choose a tag, only files with that tag are visible. To show all files, click or tap the tag again, or choose Reset Filters.

Remove a playlist (Mac only): Control-click the playlist in the sidebar, then click Delete.
