Locate items in Find My on Apple Watch
Use Find My to locate items you’ve attached an AirTag to, and keep track of Find My network accessories.
Find the location of an item
Go to the Find My app
on your Apple Watch.
Tap the button at the top left, then tap Items.
Turn the Digital Crown to scroll through your items and see their locations on a map.
(If an item can’t be located, its last known location is shown.)
Tap the name of the item you’re looking for, then do any of the following:
Ping the item: Tap Play Sound.
Get directions to the item’s location: Tap Directions to navigate in the Maps app

Locate the item nearby with Precision Finding: Tap Find, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Note: Precision Finding is available on AirTag (2nd Generation) and requires Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, or later—excluding Apple Watch SE 3. Precision Finding isn’t available in all countries and regions; see the Apple Support article Learn about Ultra Wideband availability.
Receive a notification when you’ve left an item behind
To help keep you from misplacing your items, you can receive a notification when you’ve left them behind. You can also set Trusted Locations—locations where you can leave your item without receiving a notification.
Go to the Find My app
Tap the button at the top left, then tap Items.
Turn the Digital Crown until you see the item, then tap its name.
Scroll down to Notify Me, then turn on When Left Behind.
Set a trusted location—such as home.
