Share or stop sharing your location
The Find My app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac (and the Find People or Find Items apps in Apple Watch) helps keep you connected to your devices even if they’re lost or stolen, and allows you and your family and friends to share locations with each other.

You can use Find My to locate your friends and family and to share your location with them (your location isn’t shared by default). Share My Location—in the Me tab—must be on to share your location with friends, family, and contacts.
To see whom you’re sharing your location with, go to the People tab in Find My. The people listed in this tab have either shared their location with you, or you’ve shared your location with them, or both. When someone shares their location with you, you can choose to share your location back, or not.

If you set up Family Sharing and use Location Sharing, your family members automatically appear in the People tab, although they still have to share their location with you. See Manage Family Sharing settings.

The location is visible in Find My on your other devices, and to people in Family Sharing you share your location with.
