Transfer custom email domain addresses on iCloud.com
If you’re sharing a custom email domain, you can transfer addresses between members of the domain.
Transfer active addresses
If you own a custom email domain, you can transfer an active email address from one member of the domain to another member.
Go to icloud.com/icloudplus, sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary), then tap Custom Email Domain.
Tip: If you’re already on iCloud.com, you can also tap in the toolbar, then tap Custom Email Domain.
Tap Manage, then select a domain.
Tap next to the address you want to transfer, then tap Continue.
Choose the person that you want to transfer the address to, tap Send, then tap Done.
A notification is sent to the current owner of the address and the person you selected. If they both accept, the address is transferred. If necessary, you can tap Resend Request to resend the notification.
Transfer deleted addresses
If you’re a member of a custom email domain, you can request to use an address that another member of the domain deleted.
Go to icloud.com/icloudplus, sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary), then tap Custom Email Domain.
Tap Manage, then select a domain.
Tap . In the field that appears, type the deleted address.
Each person can have a maximum of three active email addresses for a domain.
Tap “Add email address,” tap Send, then tap Done.
A notification is sent to the owner of the address. If they accept, the address is transferred. If necessary, you can tap Resend Request to resend the notification.
Cancel a transfer request
Go to icloud.com/icloudplus, sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary), then tap Custom Email Domain.
Tap Manage, then select a domain.
Below the email address, tap Cancel Request, then tap Continue.
A notification is sent to anyone who accepted the request.
If someone declines a transfer request, the email address stays with the original owner.
