Archive email in Mail on iCloud.com
You can move emails to the Archive folder to help keep your inbox from getting too cluttered. Unlike emails you move to the Trash, archived emails remain in your Archive folder until you delete them. You can view the Archive folder in the Mailboxes list.
Tip: To quickly move emails to the Archive folder, you can replace the Delete button with the Archive button in Mail settings.
Archive emails
Go to icloud.com/mail, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Tap Edit at the top of the email list, then tap next to the email or emails you want to archive.
Tap Move at the bottom of the email list, tap Archive, then tap Move.
Show the Archive button instead of the Delete button
Go to icloud.com/mail, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Tap at the top of the Mailboxes list, then choose Settings.
In the Viewing tab, select “Show Archive button in the toolbar.”
To archive emails, tap Edit at the top of the email list, tap next to the email or emails you want to archive, then tap Archive at the bottom of the email list.
