Use Apple Vision Pro in Travel Mode
If you’re a passenger on an airplane, train, car, or bus, turn on Travel Mode to stabilize your content, so you can continue using your Apple Vision Pro.
Important: Use of Apple Vision Pro as a passenger in a moving vehicle may increase your risk of injury. Never use Apple Vision Pro while operating a moving vehicle, bicycle, heavy machinery, or in uncontrolled environments requiring attention to safety.
Turn Travel Mode on or off
When Apple Vision Pro senses that you’re traveling in an airplane, train, car, or bus, an alert asks if you want to turn on Travel Mode. When the alert appears, press the Digital Crown to turn on Travel Mode. For more information, see the Apple Support article Use Apple Vision Pro with Travel Mode.
Note: You can also turn Travel Mode on and off in Control Center. Tap Travel Mode in the list of controls on the right.
For the best experience
Remain seated while using Travel Mode, and always remove Apple Vision Pro before standing up, moving about the cabin, or exiting a vehicle.
Remain aware of your surroundings. When using Travel Mode, some features that help you see and stay aware of your surroundings are turned off.
When traveling in a car, only use Apple Vision Pro in the rear seat of the car.
For bus passengers, Travel Mode works best on long-distance and commuter buses.
Travel Mode is designed solely for passenger use on an airplane, train, car, or bus. In some situations, Apple Vision Pro may prompt you to turn on Travel Mode; don’t use Travel Mode if you’re not on an airplane, train, car, or bus.
When Travel Mode is on, you can’t make FaceTime calls or capture your Persona.
You can’t set up your Apple Vision Pro while using Travel Mode.
If your view is not where you want it while using Travel Mode, press the Digital Crown. See Recenter your view on Apple Vision Pro.
Be careful not to let the battery fall between the seats of an airplane, train, car, or bus.
