Convert text into a shape or pixel layer in Pixelmator Pro on iPad

You can convert text to a vector shape and edit its form or convert text to pixels, so that you can edit it with pixel-based tools, such as the Erase tool.

In Pixelmator Pro for iPad, select a text layer in the Layers sidebar.
Do either of the following:
- Convert the text to a shape: Swipe down from the top of the screen top reveal the menu bar, then choose Format > Convert to Shape.
- Convert the text to pixel layer: Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the menu bar, then choose Format > Convert to Pixels.
