Color correct ProRes RAW video in Final Cut Pro for iPad
Apple ProRes RAW lets you work with the camera sensor’s RAW data in Final Cut Pro. Because ProRes RAW preserves the full dynamic range and color gamut captured by the camera, it’s an ideal format for creating and color correcting wide-gamut, high-dynamic-range (HDR) content.
Go to the Final Cut Pro app on your iPad.
Open a project, tap
in the toolbar, then tap a ProRes RAW clip in the browser to select it.Tap Inspect in the lower-left corner of the screen.
At the bottom of the Settings section of the inspector, tap
to the right of RAW to Log, then tap None (if it’s not already selected).Make any needed ProRes RAW camera settings adjustments.
Make any additional color adjustments to the ProRes RAW clip.
