Change the look of a table in Keynote on Apple Vision Pro
Change the look of table text
Tap the table, or select the cells you want to change, tap
Apply a different style to a table
Tap the table, then tap
in the navigation bar at the top of the window.
Tap Table (if it’s not already selected), then tap a different style.
If you changed the table font, border style, or border color before applying a different table style, the new table might not retain those changes.
Show, hide, or edit a table title
When you add a table, its placeholder name (Table 1, for example) is hidden by default. You can show the name and edit it. No tables in a presentation can have the same name.
Tap the table, then tap
in the navigation bar at the top of the window.
Tap Table (if it’s not already selected), then turn Title on or off.
To edit the table title, double-tap it.
The insertion point appears in the name.
Pinch and drag the insertion point where you want to edit, then make your changes. See Enter text and use Dictation on Apple Vision Pro.
Tip: You can enclose the table title in a border. Tap the table title, tap
Change the border and background of table cells
You can change the border and background of any selection of table cells.
Select the cells you want to change.
Tap
in the format bar that appears, then tap a color to fill the cells, or tap Edit Cell Border to make changes to the cell border.
Add, repeat, or delete a highlighting rule
You can have Keynote change the appearance of a cell or its text when the value in the cell meets certain conditions. For example, you can make cells turn red if they contain a negative number. To change the look of a cell based on its cell value, create a conditional highlighting rule.
Tap
in the navigation bar at the top of the window, then tap Cell.
Do one of the following:
Add a rule: Tap Add Conditional Highlighting, tap a type of rule (for example, if your cell value will be a number, tap Numbers), then tap a rule. Enter values for the rule—for example, if you selected the rule “date is after,” enter a date that the date in the cell must come after. Tap a text style or a cell fill (or tap Custom Style to choose your own font color, font style, and cell fill), then tap Done.
Repeat a rule on other cells: Select the cell with the rule you want to repeat and the cells you want to add the rule to, then tap Combine Rules.
Delete a rule: Below Conditional Highlighting, swipe left on the rule you want to delete, then tap Delete.
Note: If a cell matches multiple rules, its look changes according to the first rule in the list. To reorder rules, tap Edit, then pinch and drag
