Sign in to your Apple Account in Music on Mac
To subscribe to Apple Music or buy items in the iTunes Store, you need an Apple Account. If you don’t have one, you can set one up using Music. You already have an Apple Account if you subscribe to Apple Music or use iCloud.
Create a new Apple Account in the Music app
Go to the Music app on your Mac.
Choose Account > Sign In, click Create New Apple Account, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Sign in to your Apple Account in the Music app
After you create an Apple Account, you can sign in to it and access the iTunes Store to buy music, view or change your account information, and display your purchase history.
Note: You must use the same Apple Account in Music, Podcasts, and the Apple TV app.
Go to the Music app on your Mac.
Choose Account > Sign In.
If you forgot your Apple Account password, click “Forgot password?” and follow the onscreen instructions.

Sign out of your Apple Account in the Music app
You might want to sign out of your Apple Account to let another user sign in to their account, essentially switching between users.
Go to the Music app on your Mac.
Choose Account > Sign Out.
