Identify who will fill registration roles
Determine who in your organization will fill the following roles. Apple may need to work directly with them.
Note: In a small organization, a single contact may serve more than one role.
Administrative contact. This person signs in to Apple Business Register and manages the process of registering your organization for Health Records. A large organization may appoint someone—such as a program or project manager—to collect the necessary information from across the organization. The administrative contact should create an account for Apple Business Register use only.
Technical contact. This person is knowledgeable about your FHIR API endpoint implementation and about how the test patient data is maintained. The technical contact is typically a representative of your EHR vendor or someone from your clinical IT department.
Signing authority. This person is authorized to review and accept legal agreements on behalf of your organization. Your organization needs to accept the Health Records Directory Listing (HRDL) Agreement prior to the publication of your organization in the Health app. (See Health Records Directory Listing FAQ.)
Marketing contact. This person receives information from Apple about how to promote your organization’s participation in Health Records. This person can also help define how your organization should be listed in the Health app, such as which brand information to use.
