Apple TV+ in the Apple TV app
The Apple TV+ screen in the Apple TV app gives you easy access to Apple TV+, a subscription streaming service featuring Apple Originals—award-winning films, series, compelling dramas, groundbreaking documentaries, kids’ entertainment, comedies, and more—with new items added every month.

Note: Not all devices support on-device transactions, so you may not be able to buy, rent, or subscribe to shows or channels directly. However, you can sign in with your Apple ID to watch items you’ve already purchased, rented, or subscribed to on other devices.
Browse Apple TV+
Open the sidebar in the Apple TV app
on your smart TV, streaming device, or gaming console, then select Apple TV+.Browse featured movies, TV shows, and collections, then select an item to see ratings and descriptions.
Pick an Apple Original to watch
When you select an item, a new screen appears with ratings, descriptions, and viewing information.
In the Apple TV app
, do any of the following:Play the item: If the item is already available to you to watch, select Play or Play Episode to start watching it immediately.
Subscribe to Apple TV+: Select the subscription button, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Add an item to Up Next: If you want to watch the item later, select Add to Up Next to add it to Up Next in the Home and Apple TV+ screens.
The Add to Up Next button changes to In Up Next, indicating the item is added.
Remove an item from Up Next: Select In Up Next.
Go to the next item in the category you’re browsing: Navigate right or left. You can also press the back button on the smart TV or device remote to go back to the Apple TV+ screen.
To get more information, navigate down to highlight a row or column, then do any of the following:
Browse seasons and episodes: Select an episode, or select a season, then browse episodes.
Browse related items: Navigate left or right in the Related row, then select an item.
Explore cast and crew: Navigate left or right in the Cast & Crew row, then select a person to see biographical information and associated movies and TV shows.
Get more information: Navigate to the bottom of the screen to see ratings, descriptions, and other information.
