Customize the Xsan storage pool type in macOS Server
You customize the storage pool type while you set up a volume.
To change storage pool settings for an existing volume, you must destroy and re-create the volume.
When you create a storage pool from unallocated LUNs, you determine what kind of data will be stored in the pool. You can choose:
Metadata and journal
Metadata and user data
Metadata only
Journal only
User data only
Any (Metadata, journal and user data)
In the Server app sidebar, select Xsan from the list of advanced services.
While adding storage pools to a volume, select the new pool, then click Edit to assign one or more LUNs to a pool.
Choose one of the data types from the Type pop-up menu.
Add LUNs to the pool, then click OK to finish.
Thanks for your feedback.
