Email a document in Pages for iCloud
If you have an iCloud email address (ending in @icloud.com, @mac.com, or @me.com), you can email your document from within Pages for iCloud. You can specify its format as Pages, Microsoft Word, PDF, or EPUB.
If you want to restrict access to your document, you can protect it with a password.
Do one of the following:
With the document open: Click the Tools button in the toolbar, then choose Send a Copy.
In the document manager: Select the document, click the More button , then choose Send a Copy.
Note: If you upload a Pages ’09 or earlier, Microsoft Word, RTF, or TXT document to Pages for iCloud, you need to open it in Pages for iCloud before you can email it.
Select a format for the document; to make it possible to read your document in an ebook reader (such as Apple Books), or to publish it on Apple Books, choose EPUB.
If you chose EPUB, choose your options, then click Next.
Title and Author: Enter the title and author viewers will see if you publish the book on Apple Books.
Cover: Use the first page of the document or choose an image file.
Layout: If this is a word-processing document, choose a fixed layout to preserve the layout of the page, or a reflowable layout so readers can adjust the font size and style (which may change how much content is visible on each page).
If it’s a page layout document, it can be exported only with a fixed layout.
Category, Language, and Table of Contents: Click Advanced, then assign an Apple Books category for the EPUB and indicate the language of the document.
If you added a table of contents to your document and want to include it in the EPUB, make sure “Export with Table of Contents” is On.
Click Email, type one or more email addresses, then click Send.
