Rotate the image on your display
You may be able to rotate the image on your display. For example, if you have a widescreen display but would rather have a display that is taller than it is wide, you could rotate the display’s image 90 degrees, then physically rotate the display, if possible.
Before you begin, check the documentation that came with your display to make sure you can safely operate the display when it’s rotated.
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Display.
Choose a value from the Rotate or Rotation pop-up menu.
If you don’t see the pop-up menu, your computer doesn’t support this feature.
