Mac Studio (2025) Battery
Before You Begin
Warning
Read Mac Electrical Safety and follow workspace handling guidelines before you begin.

Remove the following parts before you begin:
Tools
Torx T3 screwdriver
Refer to a full list of tools required for all repairs.
Removal
Note: If you’ve already completed the removal steps, skip to reassembly.
Use the T3 screwdriver to remove the two 3IP screws (923-12508) from the battery cover.
Lift the battery cover with battery off the logic board.
Turn over the battery cover. Then lift the battery out of the cover.
Reassembly
Warning: Install only a BR1632A coin cell battery. There’s a risk of explosion if the battery is installed incorrectly or replaced with an incorrect type of coin cell battery. Dispose of used batteries according to local environmental laws and guidelines.
Insert the positive side of the battery into the battery cover (left). Once the battery is installed, the negative side should be visible (right).
Turn over the battery cover with the installed battery and position it on the logic board. Align the screw cutouts in the battery cover with the screw holes in the logic board.
Use the T3 screwdriver to reinstall the two 3IP screws (923-12508) into the battery cover.
Note: 923-12508 is a kit that includes 3IP screws and a battery cover.
