Try quick troubleshooting steps
Verify that the USB cable being used for firmware updates has data capability. Some USB cables don't have data capability. Verify that the cable that came with the product is being used, or use another known good USB cable.
If the Beats product contains firmware, verify that it has been updated to the latest firmware version.
It may be necessary to reset the product for firmware updates to be applied and recognized.
Note: Resetting a product with nonreplaceable batteries may cause the product to require a full recharge cycle.
Note: If the product unexpectedly turns off after resetting it, connect the product to a known good power adapter or charger that is connected to AC power and charge the product completely.
Run manual tests
