Self-playing or interactive Keynote presentations on iPad
You can set your presentation to advance automatically, like a movie, with no interaction needed. Or you can set up an interactive presentation that changes slides only when the viewer taps its links. You can also set a presentation to play continuously in a loop and to restart if the presentation sits idle for a specified period of time.
These options are particularly useful when the presentation is played in a kiosk setting.
Make an interactive presentation or one that advances automatically
With the presentation open, tap .
Tap Settings, tap Presentation Type, then tap one of the following:
Links Only: Changes slides only when the viewer (or presenter) taps a link.
Self-Playing: Advances automatically with no interaction needed.
To return to the default behaviour of changing slides by tapping them, select Normal.
To make the presentation restart automatically, turn on Restart Show if Idle, then drag the slider to set the amount of idle time before a presentation restarts.
If there hasn’t been any interaction with the screen after the specified full stop of time, the presentation returns to the first slide.
To make the presentation continuously repeat, turn on Loop Slideshow.
Tap anywhere on the slide to dismiss the pop over.
To play the presentation, tap to select the slide you want to begin with in the slide navigator, then tap .
