Use Find My to locate people, devices and items
Use Find My to share your location with friends and family, locate lost Apple devices and find missing AirTags or third-party items.
Set up Find My
If you want to use Find My to locate friends, devices and items, you need to set it up first.
You need to share your location with your friends and family before you can ask to see their locations on a map. And if you add your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, Beats headphones, AirTag or third-party item to Find My, you can use the Find My app to locate it if it ever goes missing.
Locate people, devices and items
You can use the Find My app to locate friends, Apple devices, AirTags or third-party items. Find My is available on your iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, and Find Devices is available on iCloud.com.
Remove devices and items from Find My
Before you sell or give away a device or item, make sure to turn off Find My on your device or unregister your AirTag or third-party item from your Apple Account. This way, the new owner can set up the device or item and use it with the Find My app.
