Connect your Mac to a VPN
You can use VPN settings to connect to a virtual private network (VPN) on an existing internet connection.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click VPN in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
If you’re using an L2TP VPN and need to switch to a different configuration, click the Info button on the right, click the Configuration pop-up menu, choose a configuration, then click OK.
Turn on the VPN service you want to connect to.
