Upload and download photos using iCloud.com
Photos you upload from your computer to iCloud.com are added to iCloud Photos and are visible on all of your devices that have iCloud Photos turned on. You can also download photos to keep them on your device.
Upload photos
You can upload JPEG files from your computer to your personal library and albums, and more file types to your shared albums. See the Apple Support article Shared Album limits.
Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select Library or an album in the sidebar.
Select
, then do one of the following:
On a phone or tablet: Choose Photo Library, Take Photo, or Choose Files. Select the photos you want to upload, then tap Add or Open; or take a photo, then tap Use Photo.
On a computer: Select the photos you want to add from your computer, then click Upload.
Note: If you want to upload photos to your iCloud Shared Photo Library, use the Photos app on a device with iOS 16.1, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, or later.
Download photos and videos
Photos and videos are downloaded in the most compatible format for the device you’re currently using.
Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select the photos or videos you want to download.
Do one of the following:
On a phone or tablet: Tap
in the bottom-right corner, tap Download, then tap Download again.
On a computer: Click
.
Tip: To choose a file format before you download, click
, click More Download Options, then click
next to a file format option.
