Use Auto Mask or Magnetic Mask for color correction in Final Cut Pro for Mac
The Auto Mask and Magnetic Mask are AI-enhanced mask effects that easily isolate people, objects, and shapes from the background without a green screen or time-consuming manual tracking or rotoscoping. You can use an Auto Mask or Magnetic Mask to precisely control what part of the image is affected by a color correction effect.
Final Cut Pro tracks the item’s movement in the clip using machine learning and applies the mask (and the color correction effect) to the item in each frame of the clip automatically.
See Add an Auto Mask to a video effect and Add a Magnetic Mask to a video effect.
