Change App Store settings on Apple Watch
You can customize your preferences for the App Store app in Settings.
Get automatic downloads and updates
Go to the Settings app
on your Apple Watch.
Tap App Store, then adjust any of the following settings:
Automatic Downloads: Automatically install the watchOS version of free and paid apps purchased on other devices.
Automatic Updates: Automatically download new versions of your apps when they’re available.
You can also go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, then go to App Store.
Set Screen Time limits and App Store restrictions for kids
When you set up Apple Watch for kids, you can set up parental controls for children or other members in the Family Sharing group. Use Screen Time to customize restrictions for installing and deleting apps and in-app purchases. Set age restrictions so your child sees only age-appropriate apps. Turn on Ask to Buy, so your child must receive approval for eligible purchases and free downloads.
