Customize verbosity in VoiceOver on Mac
By default, VoiceOver provides a high level of detail to help new Mac and VoiceOver users.
Note: VO represents the VoiceOver modifier that you press with additional keys to enter VoiceOver commands. By default, you can press Control and Option together or just press Caps Lock.
Go to VoiceOver Utility (press VO-Fn-F8 when VoiceOver is on).
Click the Verbosity category, then click Speech or Braille (if you use a refreshable braille display).
Choose a different default setting, and a verbosity level for specific controls, such as checkboxes or scroll areas.
