Add a shadow to text in Pages for iCloud
You can add a shadow behind text to make it stand out. The text shadow is visible even if you choose to print your document or download it as a PDF.
Go to Pages for iCloud , then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
In your document, select the text you want to change.
In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top.
If the text is in a table cell, click the Cell tab at the top of the sidebar instead of the Style button.
In the Font section, click , then select the Shadow checkbox.
Adjust the shadow’s appearance using the following controls:
Blur: Click the arrows to increase or decrease the sharpness of the shadow.
Offset: Click the arrows to change the amount of space between the text and the shadow.
Opacity: Make the shadow more or less transparent.
Angle: Drag the Angle wheel to change the direction of the light source. You can also enter a value in the field next to the wheel.
Color: To the right of the text box, click the color well (it looks like a rectangle), then choose a color.
To remove a shadow, select the text, click , then deselect the Shadow checkbox.
