Show, hide, or edit a table title in Numbers on Mac
When you add a table, its title (Table 1, for example) is shown by default. You can edit the title or hide it. No tables in a spreadsheet can have the same name.
Hide or show a table title
Click the table, Control-click the row number for row 1, then choose Hide Table Title or Show Table Title.
Edit a table title
Triple-click the title at the top of the table, then type a new title.
To enclose the table title in a border, click the table, then in the Format
sidebar, click the Table tab. Click the Table Outline pop-up menu, choose an outline style, then select the “Outline Table Title” checkbox.
To add a caption or label to a table, see Add a caption or title to objects in Numbers on Mac.
Thanks for your feedback.
