Logic Pro for Mac hardware connection overview
You can use Logic Pro for Mac with a wide variety of audio and MIDI devices, including microphones, keyboards and other musical instruments, mixers, and other audio equipment.
To connect audio devices to your computer, you can use an audio interface. Keyboards and other MIDI devices can be connected directly, or using a MIDI interface. Some audio and MIDI interfaces require that you install a device driver before opening Logic Pro, so the app can find and use the device at startup.
See External Instrument in Logic Pro for Mac for information about using MIDI sound modules with Logic Pro.
