Next steps for Health Records
Congratulations! By publishing your organization in the Health app (as previously described), your patients can download their health records from your organization.
To continue supporting your patients, take the following steps:
Keep your information up to date: As your organization changes, you may need to update information such as contacts, location addresses, or brand names.
Prerequisites for Health app data Share with Provider: (U.S. only) This feature allows your patients to share their Health app data with their care team (iOS 15, iPadOS 17, or later required). Eligible providers can view the data (such as heart rate, blood pressure, exercise minutes, hours of sleep, lab results, heart health notifications, lab results, immunizations, and more) by clicking Apple Health app Data in your EHR application.
Report problems: Inform Apple of any problems your organization or your patients experience with Health Records.
You may also need to temporarily suspend your patients’ access to health record downloads, such as when you perform routine maintenance affecting your FHIR API endpoint or when you experience unscheduled down time. See Suspend patient access to Health records or Health app data sharing.
