Problems signing in to Schoolwork
If you have trouble signing in to the Schoolwork app using the Managed Apple IDs your school’s IT administrator created, try these suggestions.
To sign in to a device:
Set up with Apple School Manager: use your Managed Apple ID and password.
Not set up with Apple School Manager:
For teachers, sign in with your Managed Apple ID and password and two-factor authentication.
For students, sign in with your Managed Apple ID, password and the six-digit verification code provided by your school or administrator. Your six-digit verification code expires after one year.
Make sure you type your complete Managed Apple ID when you sign in to iCloud in Settings on your device (go to Settings , then tap Sign in to your iPad).
When typing your password, make sure the caps lock key is not on (passwords are case-sensitive).
If you have more than one ID, make sure you are using the correct ID and password combination.
If you cannot remember your password, or you see a message that your account has been disabled for security reasons (which means someone tried and failed to sign in multiple times), contact your school’s IT administrator.
Note: To reset a student password, use Apple School Manager (see Reset passwords in Apple School Manager) or Classroom for a Shared iPad (see Reset a student’s Managed Apple ID password with Classroom (iOS) or Reset a student’s Managed Apple ID password with Classroom (Mac)).
