Open Printers & Scanners settings for me

Option | Description |
---|---|
Default printer | Specifies the printer you want to use as the default printer. By default, the most recently used printer at that network location is selected. |
Default paper size | Choose the paper size you have loaded in your printer. |
Printers | Lists the printers your Mac is set up to use. Click the printer in the Printers list to view or change the printer name, location, printer model or driver version; open the Printer Queue or the Options and Supplies information for the printer; share the printer on a network; or allow others to use your printer. Others can use Mac, Windows or UNIX computers, and they must be on the same local network. Mac users must have macOS 10.5 or later installed. You can also Control-click a printer in the list to see printer info, set the printer as the default printer, remove the printer from the list and reset the printing system. |
Add Printer, Scanner or Fax button | Add a printer, scanner, fax or multifunction printer to the device list. Choose from the list or type the device’s information into the dialogue that appears. Most printers and scanners are listed under Default. You can also add an IP printer or Windows printer. |
