Add text to a presentation in Keynote for iCloud
Many themes include placeholder text that you can simply type over. To place text elsewhere, you can add a new text box and type in it.
You can also add text in table cells, or inside shapes.
Replace placeholder text
Most Keynote for iCloud themes contain placeholder text to give you an idea of what a presentation created with this theme might look like. The placeholder text also shows you the text styles used in the presentation.
Double-click the placeholder text and type.
Add text in a new text box
Click the Text button in the toolbar.
A text box appears on the slide.
Drag the text box to position it on the slide.
With the text box selected, type to replace the placeholder text.
To delete a text box, select it, then press Delete.
Thanks for your feedback.
