Write and send email in Mail on iCloud.com
You can send messages and change the default folder for sent email.
Write and send email
In Mail on iCloud.com, tap above the message list.
A new window opens with a blank message.
Type one or more names or email addresses in the address field. Tap Return or Enter or type a comma to end each name or address.
As you type, iCloud Mail tries to suggest a complete address. To use it, tap Return or Enter.
If a list of suggested addresses appears, tap an address to use it.
To view all your contacts, tap to the right of the address field.
To include Cc and Bcc address fields, tap Cc/Bcc.
In the Subject field, type a subject for the email.
If you want to send the message from an address you do not usually use, tap From, then choose a different address in the pop-up menu.
You have multiple addresses if you created an email alias or if you have an @me.com or @mac.com address in addition to your @icloud.com address.
Type your message, then tap Send in the top right-hand corner.
The time an email was sent appears in the message list or the email header (the information at the top of the email). If the time shown is incorrect, you need to change the time zone in Settings on iCloud.com. See Change the language, time zone or regional formats used on iCloud.com.
Change the default folder for sent email
Note: If you send an email with large attachments, it might be returned by the recipient’s email service if your email exceeds the size limit set by that email service. You can try sending the contents of your message in multiple emails, or using compression software to make your attachments as small as possible.
