News Publisher overview
News Publisher is the iCloud application you use to publish articles to Apple News. Currently allowing content in English and Canadian French only, it supports two publishing formats—Apple News Format (ANF) and RSS. Even though both are easy to manage, Apple News Format offers the following additional advantages:
Content is formatted automatically for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac.
Content renders faster than articles delivered through RSS.
Layouts can include typography, images, and linked text.
You can deliver content to News from an existing content management system (CMS), create content directly within News Publisher, or upload Apple News Format articles you create in a text editor.
Analytics tools measure article traffic and more.
Using Apple’s advertising platform, you can include ads in your content to earn revenue.
Before you can publish using Apple News Format or RSS, you need to sign up as a publisher and have your content approved. After you’re approved, you follow the publishing process for the format you’ve chosen. See Apple News Format workflow and RSS workflow for more information.

News is the app for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac that delivers articles from a variety of sources, including newspapers, magazines, and websites. Articles are organized into channels (publications) and assigned to topics.
Users can follow the channels and topics that interest them most. The more they read, the more personalized the News app becomes. The Today feed in the News app displays articles from the channels and topics the user follows that best match their interests. For more about News, see the iPhone User Guide.
News requires iOS 9 or later, iPadOS 13 or later, or macOS 10.14 or later.
