Advanced effects
Final Cut Pro 10.2 offers powerful new tools for creating visual effects and superb video quality in your projects.
Use the flexible Shape Mask and Draw Mask effects to create areas of transparency in your video clips. The Draw Mask effect lets you create complex custom masks and provides options for linear, Bezier, or B-Spline smoothing. Define the shape of video effects and color corrections using the shape mask and color mask controls built into almost every video effect. You can instantly display the alpha channel for any effect mask. See Intro to effect masking in Final Cut Pro.
