Delete or recover a presentation in Keynote for iCloud
If you want to reduce the amount of iCloud storage space you’re using or no longer need a presentation (or folder), you can delete it. If you change your mind, you can get back (recover) deleted items within 30 days.
Important: When you delete a presentation in Keynote for iCloud, it’s also deleted from Keynote on all your devices set up to use iCloud. If you delete a presentation you shared with others, it’s no longer available to the people you shared it with.
Delete a presentation or folder
In the presentation manager, select a presentation or folder.
Click the Trash button
in the toolbar, or press the Delete or Backspace key on the keyboard.The item is moved to Recently Deleted (in the left sidebar).
To permanently delete an item so you can no longer recover it, click Recently Deleted, select the item, then click Delete at the top of the window (or press the Delete or Backspace key on the keyboard).
Tip: When Recently Deleted is selected in the left sidebar, you may see items that were created using other iWork apps, like Pages or Numbers, that are dimmed (you can’t select them). If you want to delete an item but can’t select it, click the App Launcher button
in the toolbar, click the app used to create the item, then follow the instructions above.
Recover recently deleted items
You can recover any of your deleted presentations (or folders) within 30 days.
Note: If you delete a presentation that was shared with you, it can’t be recovered, however, you can click the link you received in the original invitation to collaborate to open it again, or ask the owner to send the shared link again.
In the presentation manager, click Recently Deleted in the left sidebar.
Select a presentation or folder, then click Recover at the bottom of the window (or choose it from the item’s More menu
).The selected item moves back to its former location in the presentation manager (under Browse and Recents).
