Create your first showcase in Apple Business
Overview
A showcase is a module on the place card that allows you to highlight new items, deals or sales, or other promotional content, and include a call to action for a customer to select. Showcases are dynamically presented on the place card, and they’re specific to a location and time period (for example, 30 days). You can create your own showcase or you can have a third-party partner create them for you.
A showcase can contain a headline, a body, an image, and a call-to-action (CTA) button. The showcase CTA button can also contain a link to promote a specific opportunity for your customers. The CTA button opens a registered experience on the place card. Some Actions are available only through the Business Connect API.
Note: Not all languages are supported for showcases. See Language list for showcases.
Showcase requirements
Showcases need to:
Adhere to the Photo and text standards and guidelines.
Be approved by Apple.
Showcase expirations
Showcases are designed to highlight something new related to each location for your brand to keep your customers coming back. Showcases can run for up to 365 days. The default is set for 90 days.
Schedule showcases for the future
You should plan showcases in advance, so customers always see something new each month. If you have more than one location, you can use the same showcase for each location, or a different one, depending on your brand strategy.
Important: Because Apple reviews each showcase, plan at least three calendar days before you want the showcase to go live. Editing a showcase while it’s in review may delay its approval.
