Listen to your identified songs in Spotify on iPhone or iPad
You can connect Shazam to Spotify to quickly open and play your songs in Spotify. After you’re connected, you can sync your identified songs to automatically add them to a “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Spotify—without leaving the Shazam app.
Note: To use Spotify with Shazam, the Spotify app must be installed on your iPhone or iPad, and you must be a Spotify subscriber.
Connect Shazam to Spotify
In the Shazam app on iPhone or iPad, tap My Music at the bottom of the screen.
Tap , then tap Connect next to Spotify.
If your songs are currently synced to Apple Music, tap Connect to Spotify in the notification that appears.
Follow any onscreen instructions in Spotify.
Optional: In Shazam app settings , turn on Sync Shazams to Spotify.
A “My Shazam Tracks” playlist is created in Spotify. Your newly identified songs are automatically added to the playlist.
To disconnect Shazam from Spotify, tap Disconnect in Shazam app settings .
Open an identified song in Spotify
After you connect the Shazam app to Spotify, you can open your identified songs in Spotify.
In the Shazam app on iPhone or iPad, tap My Music at the bottom of the screen.
Do any of the following:
Tap a recently identified song, then tap Spotify or Open in the track screen.
Tap on any song, then tap Open in Spotify.
Touch and hold a song’s cover art or song name, then tap Open in Spotify.
After the song opens in the Spotify app, you can add the song to any of your Spotify playlists.
Tip: You can use Siri to play your identified songs in Spotify. Say “Hey Siri, play my Shazam tracks in Spotify,” then follow any onscreen instructions.
Although you can’t sync your identified songs to the “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Apple Music and Spotify simultaneously, all of your songs are saved in My Music in the Shazam app and are available on all of your devices (when iCloud Sync is turned on in Shazam app settings ). You can change your sync preferences at any time in Shazam app settings.
