View and sort reminders on Mac

In the Reminders app on your Mac, do any of the following:

• Show or hide the reminder list sidebar: The sidebar lists all of your reminder lists. Choose View > Show Sidebar. To resize the sidebar, move your pointer over the right edge of the sidebar until the pointer changes, then drag.

• View the reminders in a list: Select the list in the sidebar.

• Switch lists when the sidebar is hidden: Click the dots at the bottom of the Reminders window. Or move your pointer over a list of Reminders, then swipe left or right.

• View a reminder list in a separate window: Double-click the list in the sidebar.

• View multiple lists at the same time: Command-click the lists in the sidebar. All lists appear in the same window on the right. To go back to viewing one list, select that list in the sidebar.

1. In the Reminders app on your Mac, choose View > Show Calendar.

2. Do any of the following:

   • See reminders scheduled for a specific day: Click the date in the calendar. A dot below a date means there are reminders scheduled for that date.

   • Go back to today: While viewing a future or past month, click the dot to the left or right of the month name.

In the Reminders app on your Mac, do any of the following:

• View completed reminders in a list: Select the reminder list, scroll to the top of the list until you see Completed, then click Show.

• View all completed reminders: Select the Scheduled reminder list, scroll to the top of the list until you see Completed, then click Show.

An app icon appears next to reminders you added from other apps.

• If there’s an app icon to the right of the reminder name in the Reminders app on your Mac, click the icon.

To return a FaceTime call from a reminder you created when you declined an incoming call, click the link in the reminder. See Answer calls in FaceTime.

• In the Reminders app on your Mac, select a list, choose View > Sort By, then choose an option.

  Your reminders are sorted only on your Mac, not on any devices where you also view your reminders.
