Save and find email addresses in Mail on iCloud.com
You can save email addresses in iCloud Contacts. You can also enter an email address you have in iCloud Contacts by typing only the first few characters in the To field of an email; iCloud automatically completes the email address for you.
Save email addresses in iCloud Contacts
In Mail on iCloud.com, do either of the following:
Add a contact from an email you received: view the message. At the top of the message, click the sender’s name or email address. In the window that appears, edit the contact’s name if necessary, then click Save.
Add a contact while composing or responding to an email: select an address in the To, Cc or Bcc field. Click
next to the address, add the contact details, then click Save.
If your account has Screen Time communication limits turned on, you may not be able to add or edit contacts. See If you cannot create, import, edit or delete contacts on iCloud.com.
Use addresses stored in iCloud Contacts
In Mail on iCloud.com, open a new message.
At the right end of the address field, click
.
Do any of the following:
Add a recipient to the email: select To, Cc or Bcc for each recipient, then click OK.
Search for a specific address: type a name in the Search Contacts field.
As you type, matching addresses are displayed. Select To, Cc or Bcc for each address you want to use, then click OK.
To see all contacts again, click
in the search field.
Mail keeps a record of the email addresses you send email to. You can delete obsolete or incorrect recent recipient addresses so iCloud Mail stops suggesting them. See Remove email address suggestions in Mail on iCloud.com.
If a message contains a vCard attachment, you can tap it to add its contact information to your iCloud Contacts. For instructions, see Download email attachments from Mail on iCloud.com.
