You can cut, copy, and paste chords on the Chord track and on Session Player regions. Using menu commands, you can copy all chords on one region and paste them to another region, paste chords from the Chord track to a Session Player region, and paste region chords to the Chord track.
In Logic Pro, double-tap the chord, then tap Cut.
To cut a chord that is part of a chord group without cutting the entire group, first ungroup the chord group.
To cut multiple ungrouped chords, select the chords, tap one of the selected chords, then tap Cut.
In Logic Pro, double-tap the chord, then tap Copy.
To copy a chord that is part of a chord group without copying the entire group, first ungroup the chord group.
To copy multiple ungrouped chords, select the chords, tap one of the selected chords, then tap Copy.
In Logic Pro, place the playhead at the position where you want to paste the chord.
Do one of the following:
On the Chord track: Tap the Chord track, then tap Paste at Playhead.
On a Session Player region: Tap the region at the position of the playhead then tap Paste.
Note: Chords from the Chord track cannot be pasted to a Session Player region, and region chords cannot be pasted to the Chord track, except using the menu commands described below.
In Logic Pro, tap a Session Player region in the Tracks area to select the region.
Tap the region in the Session Player Editor, then tap Copy Region Chords.
Select a different Session Player region in the Tracks area.
Tap the region in the Session Player Editor, then tap Paste Region Chords.
In Logic Pro, tap a Session Player region in the Tracks area to select the region.
Tap the region in the Session Player Editor, then tap Paste Chords from Global Track.
The chords remain on the Chord track and are also pasted to the selected region.
In Logic Pro, tap a Session Player region in the Tracks area to select the region.
Tap the region in the Session Player Editor, then tap Paste Region Chords to Global Track.
The chords are removed from the region and pasted to the Chord track.
